The Bound Series
Pretend that, one day, you're just living your life. You live an entirely ordinary existence, dictated by school, or work, or your own struggles, personal or interpersonal. One day, you decide, for fun, to go on a walk. Or you just so happen to look in a crack in the wall, or a hidden corner you've never unearthed before. Or you just so happen to be in the wrong- or right- place at the right- or wrong- time. Curiosity overtakes you as you spy, glistening in the sunlight, a stray feather, entirely out of the ordinary.
You decide to take a closer look. Pick it up to examine it further. And with one touch, your life changes forever.
This is the collection for all Bound series fics! Originally started in 2022 with the fic Southbound, many derivative works have popped up over the years, all with their own unique narratives, and many often focused on the transformation of a regular human into a Latias or Latios. This collection houses all fics that take the Bound name or premise; if the idea piques your interest at all, feel free to write your own take on it!

His passion for his study has long faded after it turned out less exciting than he thought, and he's stuck with an inconsiderate roommate who doesn't care for him in the slightest. His life is a never-ending spiral of dull nothingness.
Things change when he encounters a mysterious crystal ball out on a walk. All of a sudden, his life is a whirlwind of changes, both literally and figuratively. Between the draconic visitor in his room and his body starting to turn into something else, William might just get the change he didn't realise he was hoping for. -
