Intro:

☕ Welcome to the Writing Circle — a cozy community for writers who want to write more, try new prompts, and build a gentle writing habit together. This is a low-pressure space, but the heart of this circle is writing. You are welcome to take your time, read, settle in, and join when you’re ready, but we hope you won’t only lurk forever. Start small: one sentence, one paragraph, one messy draft, one response to a prompt. No prizes, no rankings, no pressure to be perfect. Just prompts, small challenges, shared progress, and a little creative momentum. ✦ What We Do: Daily & Weekly Prompts, Training Camps, Mini Jams, Constraint Challenges, Prompt Battles, Writing Gym exercises, and Monthly Writing Quests. ✦

Rules:

1. Be kind and respectful. This is a space for writers to practice, share, and grow. Treat other members with basic respect, even when you disagree.

2. No harassment, bullying, or personal attacks. Critique the work only if feedback is invited. Do not attack the writer.

3. Keep feedback constructive. When feedback is welcome, be specific, useful, and polite. “This is bad” is not feedback.

4. No shame over skill level, genre, fandom, ship, trope, or writing speed. Beginners, returning writers, fanfic writers, original writers, slow writers, and messy-draft writers are all welcome here.

5. Respect boundaries and content warnings. Use warnings when needed, and do not pressure anyone to read, write, or explain content they are uncomfortable with.

6. Keep the space low-pressure. Challenges are for practice and motivation, not competition. There are no prizes, rankings, or “better writers” here.

7. Stay on topic. Posts should be related to writing prompts, challenges, writing practice, events, or member writing.
