Summary
Renfri’s eyes close for the last time, and the people of Blaviken cast stones and blame upon the one caught in the crossfire between her and Stregobor.
A few days later, a young nobleman and his wife conceive their first child. Nine months later, the soul that had been Renfri is reborn. The same courage, the same strength, the same fearlessness and fire and fierce individuality, given a different name.
His name is Julian.
Or: Renfri is reincarnated as Jaskier. This is eventually discovered, by Geralt or Jaskier or both.
-preferably includes Jaskier eventually getting back Renfri’s memories, though whether this happens gradually over the course of years, or quickly over the course of minutes or days, is up to the author. The memories should not completely change Jaskier’s personality, but rather add to it; he has gained a bunch of extra knowledge and experience (both good and bad) and possibly the startle reflexes to go with it, but Jaskier is who he is NOW, and he won’t just stop being Jaskier simply because he is also Renfri. Renfri is and will always be a part of him, but his past as Renfri is not the whole of who he has become.

This is a more recent idea so it’s not as developed, but…
AU in which Spock’s blindness after the incident with the flying amoeba creatures in Operation: Annihilate! is not so fleetingly temporary after all.
Possible directions to take this, though none are specifically required:
-Is it truly permanent, or does it merely take “longer than a couple hours/days” for Spock’s eyes to recover? (I don’t mind if he does eventually recover, I just want to explore the idea of people thinking his blindness is permanent for longer than the span of the last ten minutes of an episode)
-Can the doctor tell that his eyes are healing? If so, would prefer if he is unable to do anything to help him along, or unable to predict how thoroughly they will heal.
-If Spock does recover, is it a complete recovery? Or does he now require glasses? Though if so, this does not prevent him from doing his duty as a Starfleet officer.
-If the blindness IS actually permanent and not merely a long time in healing, what does Spock choose to do if/when this happens?
-What does Starfleet choose to do? Is he kicked out? Is he accommodated? Does he choose to retire, thinking that he’s being preemptive about leaving before he’s sent, only for Starfleet to be like “excuse me you still have options, sir”

Summary
Write a choose your own adventure story from the perspective of five different characters, with a couple of different directions that each character could go.
Preferences:
-at least one of the stories should intersect and interact with one or more of the others; could even be telling the story of the same incident(s) from the point of view of different places on the ship-at least one of the characters needs to be not a part of Starfleet. If a character is a part of Starfleet, then they should not be in one of the classic ship crews unless they’re far enough down in the rankings as to not come across the main characters very often. (Think similar to the TNG episode “The Lower Decks”)
-At least two characters need to be non-human

Summary
Sort of a fusion, in which characters from fmab are placed within the world of Star Wars, but the story doesn’t necessarily follow the plot of either story. Should probably take elements from both, but go in its own direction.
Clone wars au in which the clone template was Hohenheim. (Not necessarily an alchemist unless you decide to write him that way, maybe he’s Force-sensitive, maybe not…up to the author)
Whether Hohenheim himself was aware of his being a clone template or not is up to the author.
Ed and Al are still his natural sons, but when they find out about the clones, they definitely consider them brothers.
Could potentially include the Dwarf In The Flask being a clone who goes rogue, or something like that, but as far as roles go, it would make more sense for him to be the stand-in for palpatine.
In fact, that could even be why Hohenheim ended up cloned; what better way to get back at him than by using an army of clones related to Hoho himself for the ditf’s purposes!
Other ideas for potential stuff to include within this au:
-Ed and Al find out about the clones and immediately decide they’re adopting as many as possible. No, they don’t care that there’s like a literal billion of them. The ones who are the equivalent of twenty-year-olds might be out of their reach, but there’s still millions of adolescents and children and babies! (Never mind that the two of them are only teenagers themselves)
-Ed and Al are not Jedi, but they *are* Force-sensitive, and may belong to some other Force-using group
-Hohenheim could potentially have still been a slave at some point
-Role reversal where Roy is a Jedi and Riza (in the position of Padme) could potentially either be a senator…
Or she could be a senator’s decoy, which I think would be a more interesting love story-I could see Edward eventually joining the Jedi in this ‘verse, but I can’t see him starting out that way, or being a very conventional one. Either Roy Mustang or Izumi Curtis as his Jedi Master would make a lot of sense
-The idea of Roy wanting to, like, be a Jedi but also go into politics is actually really intriguing to me. And I could honestly see Riza as some sort of senatorial bodyguard who they keep running into on missions or something
-thought: there is a subset of people who are Force Sensitive who are similar to Jedi but they aren’t actually affiliated with them anymore because there was a split at some point in the past.
They still follow something similar to the original Jedi Code, but centuries ago they split off from the Jedi because they didn’t approve of how much their missions were controlled by the Galactic Senate. This is where Izumi Curtis comes, and gives a reason why she might be disapproving if the Elric brothers join the Jedi-Second thought: in this au, Trisha Elric was never a full Jedi, but she did grow up as an initiate. She deliberately chose to not become a Knight because she knew it wasn’t her calling, and so she went into the Jedi Agricorps at the age of twelve, and somewhere along the line met Hohenheim
-Roy Mustang is a Jedi Knight, but he chose to keep contact with Madam Christmas who lives on Tatooine (let’s say he joined a little older than normal, but not so old that the Jedi would be reluctant to accept him)
-potential backstory for Hohenheim: He could have been a slave on Tatooine millennia and millennia ago, back before it was a desert planet (a very very long time ago indeed) and then he was part of a cataclysm which was the spark for how it became a desert planet in the first place, in which Tatooine takes the place of Xerxes

The Blaviken incident was the beginning of the end. Over the next few decades, prejudice was inflamed into hatred was inflamed into violence, and Witchers began to be hunted down and slaughtered. The Path had never been exactly safe, but now? Now it was impossible. The humans would just as soon stone them out of town as consider hiring them for a contract. The already dwindling Witcher population grew sparser and sparser, until finally, fifty years later, Witchers had become extinct, and humanity didn’t even notice…Until over time, the monsters began to return, overtaking the realms that humanity had built for themselves. It went slowly at first, an archespore breeding its way into the inhabited section of a forest, a vampire colony making its nest in the outskirts of a village. Drowners breeding in large numbers out in the swamps, making their way to inland rivers and streams.
It wasn’t until an accident in a mine caused the formation of a dozen wraiths, which the nearby town was unequipped to deal with on their own. Someone had the thought to post a contract for a Witcher. True, there hadn’t been a Witcher in the vicinity of the mining town for over two decades, but surely one could be found elsewhere on the Continent.
Word was sent out, several towns and villages in need of a Witcher, sending correspondence to other regions in the hope that one would turn up…
But nobody came.
The mages were the first to realize the gravity of humanity’s mistake. They tried to revive the old experiments, to create new Witchers from the knowledge of their ancestors, but the notes were too sparse, and the knowledge of the ancient magics had grown too shallow. They were unable to recreate the formula for any of the mutagens, and as the monster problem grew more and more dire, they didn’t have time to afford the task of raising the few lesser-enhanced individuals they managed to create.
In an act of desperation, the mages use their magic to form a huge city, the size of a small country, large enough to house half of the remaining human and elven population. But this is merely a stopgap measure; the monsters will be kept at bay, but only for awhile. A better solution must be found.
It is to this timeline that Julian Alfred Pankratz is born, nearly two hundred years after Blaviken. He’s a historian and (minor) magician in his own right, with limited magic (the mages can no longer afford to exclude magic users who “aren’t up to their standards” so long as they gain skill in whatever magic they are capable of). He’s nowhere near the level of a full mage, but he’s skilled at tracking magics, subtly guiding the moods of his audiences, little things like that, and he is chosen among various others as an agent to go back in time and try to find some way to either save the Witchers that are left, or somehow find a way to restore the Witcher schools themselves. Each agent is sent to a different time period. Julian (or Jaskier, as he has renamed himself) ends up in a town a few weeks away from wherever he meets Geralt (I want to allow for any version of canon in this prompt), armed with the backstory of being a traveling bard to excuse his curiosity, and the youthful appearance granted by his heritage (up to the author) to excuse his ignorance of various things within the world.
A month or so later, he runs into a Witcher called Geralt of Rivia. The rest…is up to you.
Optional directions you could potentially take this:
-Jaskier works with the others on his team to find the formula for creating a Witcher, not exactly betraying Geralt, but going somewhat behind his back and having to deal with some sort of temporary fallout when Geralt finds out
-Jaskier sticks to improving Geralt’s reputation, and canon proceeds as normal but with the differences in Jaskier’s backstory adding a different dynamic to things. He would see exactly how much of a difference his role in Geralt’s life has made, and in time he even grows fond of the Witcher himself
-Jaskier succeeds in his primary mission, but the timelines end up merging together once the world reaches the point where he came back from. This causes some issues, as the monster population is MUCH higher in his timeline than in the one where the Witchers survived, and the sudden appearance of so many of them at once has some interesting consequences.
-This is actually the second time he’s been sent back; the first was unsuccessful
-instead of just going back in time, Jaskier and his group have been tasked with bringing various well known Witchers forward in time with them in the hopes that they may be able to push back against the monsters encroaching on the city.
