Archive of Our Own

WIPs (Work(s) in Progress) Anonymous is a One Direction Fan Fiction Fest with the purpose of encouraging fandom authors to complete a work of fiction — whether it’s that prompt you’ve been wanting to write or that incomplete fic you meant to finish, sometimes we just need a little extra motivation. By allowing authors to choose their own prompt and encouraging them to post their work in progress over a twelve week period, this fest hopes to give writers (new and experienced) the structure and encouragement they need to complete their fics.

All Participants must be 18 years or older
All main pairings are accepted as long as they include one (current or former) member of One Direction.
All participants will be using their own prompt and choosing their own posting schedule.
All participants must have the first two installments of their WIPs ready for posting prior to their first posting date.
All participants must agree to post their WIP anonymously.
Participants may submit a moodboard of their choice for their fics Tumblr post. Otherwise a generic standard post will be created and reblogged.
All fics must be completed within the 12 week window. Authors will only be revealed if they’ve completed their work.
