Summary
It’s been two hours since their home burned down, and Carlos is shutting down.
TK’s not sure how to deal with this version of him. The thing about TK is that he’s an incredibly tactile person, and Carlos knows this and indulges it more than he should: he thrives on being close to his boyfriend, on small touches and stolen kisses and hugs where he feels like he could melt into the other man.
This Carlos has all but iced him out. TK knows it’s not deliberate – he’s struggling with the loss of his home and his possessions. He’d be worried if he wasn’t. But TK’s lost things too, and without Carlos’s anchoring touch there’s a buzzing growing under his skin.
