Summary
In engineering or physics, a “friction index” is the metric of how much resistance exists between two surfaces when they rub together—
When Zemo comes back one night, drugged— burning with a need he can’t contain— suddenly, the line between control and possession isn’t so simple.
What happens next isn’t the kind of thing either of them walks away from clean.
But…Maybe they’re both okay with that.

Summary
Sam’s phone doesn’t blow their cover at Selby’s, and Zemo is invited to a party afterwards - a party where Bucky has to stay in character as Zemo’s obedient soldier, where the attendees have expectations of the Soldier when he’s with his handler. It’s not quite as difficult to be the Soldier for Zemo as it probably should be, and every command makes it easier and easier for Bucky to slip a little deeper.
