FAQ:

1. What's Yamaday?
Yamaday is the informal name for Ryo Yamada's birthday, which canonically takes place on September 18th and thus is celebrated each year on that date. In case you're unaware, Ryo Yamada is the bassist and chorus singer in Kessoku Band and one of four main protagonists in Bocchi the Rock!

2. What counts as a 'Yamaday' fic?
A Yamaday fic has three main requirements:

• It has to star, include in a major role, or otherwise be focused on Ryo Yamada
• It is usually a one-shot, or a chapter that can stand on its own without prior reading of other chapters (judged on a case-by-case basis)
• It isn't a crossover with any other fandoms

Aside from this, there are no other requirements that need to be adhered to! Feel free to write to your heart's content :3

3. Does my fic have to include some reference to Ryo's birthday?
Nope, just include the bassist herself and make sure the three criteria are met and you're able to submit your work as a Yamaday fic!

4. I see there are no crossovers - are original characters/settings/etc. allowed?
Yes, AUs, OCs, and other original content is allowed so long as it is still mostly about Ryo Yamada in some fashion.

5. Why no crossovers?
I wanted to keep this very much in the spirit of Bocchi the Rock!, and so allowing crossovers might not exactly work well for this. I'm willing to reconsider depending on what people think about this, however!

6. When do submissions close?
This is something that will have to be tinkered with as we get used to the process, but for now each collection will be open from September 18th to September 28th for the year it represents.
