A gift exchange for characters on aromantic spectrum and asexual spectrum - canonical or not. You will be able to chose which you are interested in giving/receiving in the sign-up form.

Who counts as an a-spec character character?
For the purposes of this exchange, canon or headcanon characters are allowed, as well as aro/ace-spectrum AUs.
A-spectrum includes, but is not limited to aromantic, asexual, demi, grey, and other types of low/rare attraction characters. If you think an identity fits, I will not argue unless it's blatantly not true (i.e. a character who experiences sexual/romantic attraction typically).

Do I have to create for both, aro-spectrum and ace-spectrum?
Not at all, the character can be on one or both, as long as you follow your giftee's preference and DNWs.

What are the minimums?
300 words for fic, a clean sketch on unlined paper for art

NOMINATIONS

Nominations will run concurrently with sign-ups.

Freeforms:
Freeforms must be related to a-spec identities or experiences. This includes specific labels, typical experiences of a-spectrum people, or something involving an a-spectrum person. Acceptable examples include:
Demi-sexual character
Aro ace character
Aromantic allosexual character
Attachment to playing cards
sex repulsion
queerplatonic relationships
Aromantic character in a romantic relationship

Freeforms can be fandom specific.

Fandoms
Generally, all fandoms are eligible for nomination. Original work, RPF and Creator's Choice of Fandom are allowed.

For RPF, a character must be 18+ and famous in their own right.
The mod reserves the right to reject RPF nominations in bad taste.

Nominate Original Works under "Original Work". There is no division by gender, so specify what combinations you would like in the tag itself as needed

Nominate Crossovers under "Crossover Fandom". You must disambiguate your crossover nominations (abbreviations of canon name will suffice).

Nominate Creator’s Choice of Fandom under "Creator’s Choice of Fandom". Original Work and RPF are strictly opt-in for CCOF. Other Fandom DNWs are not allowed for this fandom.

Character and Relationships
You can nominate characters and platonic or romantic relationships.

All of them will be nominated in character slot. Relationship slot will be used for choosing if you are interested in aro-spec or ace-spec, or both

Nominate characters as "Character Name (Fandom)"
Nominate relationships as Group: "A/B (Fandom)" or "Group: A & B (Fandom)"
Disambiguate your nominations. Especially in Crossover Fandom.

If you want to specify an identity you want the character to have, or what character(s) in a relationship you want to be a-spec, you may include it in the nomination itself. Such as:
"Group: Aromantic! A/B (Fandom)"
"Group: Asexual! A & Demiromantic!B (Fandom)"
"Greysexual! A (Fandom)"

SIGN-UPS
Requests
You can make 1-10 requests
You can choose 1-20 characters/relationships and 0-20 freeforms for each request
You may request a fandom more than one time. It’s recommended that you choose more than one fandom or character/relationship to give your creator some flexibility and make finding a creator more likely.

Sign ups with unmatchable requests will be sent to pinch-hits

Offers
You may offer 1-10 fandoms, with 1-20 character search. Just make sure you are matchable.

Sign-ups with unmatchable will be deleted as soon as sign-ups close.

ASSIGNMENTS
Art and fic are allowed by default. The minimums are a clean sketch on unlined paper for an art and 300 words for a fic.
Your work must include one character/relationship in one fandom your giftee requested, and avoid their DNWs.
It must feature at least one a-spec character as requested by the recipient.

MISC
You may post a gift with no recipient to the collection, as long as it features an a-spec character. The fandom and characters/relationships do not have to be in the tagset. Do not gift works for no particular recipient to the mod account.
Treats are allowed, and encouraged. Please specify the optional details if you do not want any non-assignment gifts.
No one is guaranteed a gift, but the mod will do their best to find a pinch-hitter to create a work for giftless participants.
Commenting is not mandatory, but is encouraged.
