What is Centriccember?
Centriccember is a month-long fandom prompt event that takes place in December, designed to focus characters who don't often receive centric fics. There are 4 characters per Centriccember, with each character receiving a dedicated week with 7 prompts: 4 character-specific prompts, and 3 shared prompts.

What characters does Centriccember focus on?
Centriccember 2024 focuses on Vox (Hazbin Hotel), Husk (Hazbin Hotel), Asmodeus (Helluva Boss), and Niffty (Hazbin Hotel).

What does [prompt] mean? What should I write/draw for it?
The prompts for a given day can mean anything! There is no one agreed upon angle for any prompt. We encourage creative freedom - be as literal or abstract as you desire!

If I participate, do I have to write for every character?
Nope! You can participate for only one character, or all four. You don't have to do all of the prompts, either. You're welcome to participate to any extent, whether you write for only one prompt, or for all of them!

I'm an artist, not a writer. Can I still participate?
Of course! Feel free to post your Centriccember artwork on the social media platform of your choice. Just make sure you tag it with Centriccember!

When do I post? Can I post early or late?
As the goal of Centriccember is to inspire fics for characters who don't get many, this collection is and will remain open for the foreseeable future. That means there are no close dates or scheduled deadlines. You can post whenever you'd like, and you're more than welcome to submit to this collection, whether it be two weeks early or four months late!

In order for your work to be considered part of Centriccember, it must have a "Centriccember" and/or a "Centriccember 2024" tag.

Please state in notes of your work that it’s part of Centriccember [YEAR], and what day/character/prompt it’s for.

We do not restrict what you choose to write for any prompt. We only request that you be civil and respectful of others in their submissions to Centriccember. Please tag your works appropriately.

Do not engage in harassment, bashing, or shaming. If you do, and you have a work submitted within the Centriccember collection, your work will be removed from the collection, and works of yours will not be considered for Centriccember in the future.
