This is the story of Yangyang, who spends his summer working every Wednesday to Saturday from 3-9 at his uncle’s shaved ice shop located on the borderline between Shulin and Sanxia. He jokes around with his friends when they come in, recites the price of their shaved ice on the rare occasion someone asks for it, and spends the rest of his time stuck at the counter watching people come and go, wondering about their lives before they step in and after they leave.
