“Are you insane?”
That’s not the kind of question that should make anyone look an unholy mixture of amused and fond, and it’s especially disturbing coming from a guy who just offered to let Yuuji take chunks out of him, but Yuuji still can’t make himself look away.
“It wouldn’t harm me,” Chōsō assures him.
“That’s not the problem here!” Yuuji drags a palm over his face. “…It’s not the only problem. I’m not saying I’d be fine with hurting you.”
A hand on his knee.
Chōsō’s face has returned to its usual expression—narrow-eyed and serious. When he doesn’t look bored, he looks a little sad. But whenever he looks at Yuuji, his eyes are so gentle.
He hates it. The whole point of walking away from everyone after Shibuya was to keep himself—and Sukuna—away from his precious people. The last thing he needs to do is find someone else to care about, especially another weirdo with a brother complex.
It’s exhausting—the caring, the losing.
Yuuji and Chōsō figure out the intricacies of brotherhood. Satoru's a ghost in the story until he isn't.

Sukuna is the king of Japan and the king of Curses. Having been ruling since the moment he turned into a curse, he's gotten bored over a thousand years. He slaughters and what? It's gotten boring. He kept the sorcerers for entertainment but they've all proven boring too.
The sorcerers have one last hope after Gojo failed. Giving a "present" to Sukuna. Which failed.
Now, Itadori is trapped and slowly but surely, he sees curses aren't so bad. And maybe, he can live with them.
