Summary
Shouta groaned, trying to push himself up off the forest floor, but fell right back onto his stomach, too weak. He was breathing fast, shallow pants of air, and he turned his throbbing head to take in the trees and underbrush surrounding him.
He dragged his arm up to survey the damage to his pulsing wrist, then froze. A… paw? Why was he looking at a paw? He blinked hard, trying to clear his vision, moved again, and the paw moved instead of a hand.
What.
Hizashi and Shouta are turned into a dog and a cat after a raid gone wrong, then stranded deep within forested mountains. They’re hurt, exhausted, and lost, and have to find their way home without being able to communicate.

"Mic, let's go." Someone's hands were on him, trying to pull him up. "You have to get out of here if you can't fight anymore, it's dangerous."
"Stop!" Hizashi shouted, shrugging them off, clutching Shouta's shirt. "I can't leave him!"
More hands were on him, tearing his grip from Shouta, hauling him back as he thrashed. People leaned over Shouta, and Hizashi tried to shove them away. He didn't want anyone to touch him.
"We need a body bag!" One of them called, "Eraserhead was KIA!"
"No!" Hizashi wailed.

"No!" Shouta shouted as Hizashi was grabbed by the back of his collar, dragged further away again. "Don’t touch him!"
The fist slammed hard into Hizashi’s cheek, snapping his head back. Hizashi groaned when their captor dropped him to the floor, barely catching himself from landing on his face. He couldn't take much more. Shouta could see it in the tremble of his limbs, hear it in his harsh panted breaths.

Summary
"Hizashi," Shouta gasped at the same time as the scent hit him. Fear, panic, pain, and under all that—pupped omega.
Hizashi was thin, dirty, and very pregnant. Shouta’s hind brain clawed at him, alphan instincts screaming with devastation and horror, but he forced it away. There was a raid going on throughout the building, the structure threatening to come down around them. He couldn’t think about what finding Hizashi here meant, he had to focus.
There would be time for everything else later. Right now, Hizashi was in pain and going into labor. Shouta needed to be a hero.
Shouta and Hizashi had started courting only a month before Hizashi’s disappearance. For nearly an entire stressful year, Shouta searched for him. When he’s finally found in the middle of a chaotic raid on a quirk trafficking ring, Shouta’s horrified to find that Hizashi’s in labor.

Summary
Coercion collaring—frankly, far too nice a name for a fucked up act—was a lesser-known legal loophole in a world where omegas are seen as property.
It gives alphas immediate legal ownership over omegas they put collars on, by force or otherwise. The point was to allow alphas to bite or breed omegas without legal consequence. A fancy way of saying if an alpha could prove they "own" an omega via collar, they could do what they pleased with them.
Hizashi has a collar forced on him by an alpha that is not his mate, and now Shouta (his real alpha) has to face the repercussions.
