Hello all!

Welcome to the fantastic "Everlasting Friends" gift exchange. I think all our favorite friendships and BROTPs (yes, even if the bro is a sis or sibli ^^), deserve to be in the spotlight as much as our romantic OTPs. Because true friendship, emotional closeness and cohesion are no less touching! Therefore, I would be really happy if you sign up here :). So that we can celebrate them all properly!

Assignment will be done by fandom. Other aspects like preferred ratings/characters/relationships/… will be taken into account additionally if the situation allows it. Note: Since this is a Gen Gift Exchange, cathegories are switched off within the Sign-up Form.

Deadline to submit your Gift: February 14, 2021 (NOT a coincidence ^^)
Works will be revealed after all Gifts are submitted - but not before the deadline.

Attention: The schedule is set to the time zone of Germany (EST + 6:00). So it might differ for you.

*What is a Gift Exchange?*
In a gift exchange, you write a story based on another person's wishes. In return, someone also writes for you. Gifter and Giftee are assigned by the organization. The action takes place in a certain period of time and in secret. So you don't know who is writing for you. Only after the deadline the gifts will be handed out and the gifters will be unmasked.

*Is there any min/max wordcount?*
Yes. You should write 100 words at least. There is no upper limit. But please publish your story at once. No ongoing works are allowed.

*What kind of prompts are allowed?*
To give your gifter some artistic freedom, only vague prompts are allowed. (Like quotes, lyrics/music, pictures, videos or a few keywords). If possible, please submit several prompts per fandom, so your gifter has some choice. Of course, you can also abstain from prompts.

*What if no one offers my fandom?*
There are two emergency options for this. Choose at least one of them:
1) Submit a request for original stories. The same rules apply as for other requests. Enter "Original Work" as the fandom.
2 Request a "Blind Date". This is when someone who doesn't know your fandom writes for you. Therefore, slightly different rules apply. (Look at the next question)
Note: Only wish for an option you are willing to write yourself. If you request an original work/blind date, you must offer it, too. Title your request and offer with "EMERGENCY".

*How can I create a "blind date" request/offer?*
For the offer: Enter "Multi-fandom" in the fandom field. Leave the characters and relationships fields blank. Fill in the rest as usual and don’t forget about the title.
For the request: List up to five of your desired relationships in the description. They should be sorted by fandom. For all your requests, give a brief description of the fandom and the ship. No prompts are allowed on the blind dates, as it might be too difficult for the writer otherwise. For the rest, proceed in the same way as with the offer.

*The requests of my giftee are so inspiring. May I write more than one story?”
Yes, of course. But take care that you’ve submitted all your stories by the deadline.

*I fear I won’t get my story ready by the deadline. What can I do?*
Contact me immediately. We will find a solution!

- 100 words minimum. No ongoing works.
- No romantic or sexual content. This Gift Exchange is for Gen only. Also no explicit rated requests/content for this Gift Exchange is open to minors.
- At least one of the emergency options is mandatory. Follow the rules stated in the FAQs. Of course, the emergency requests and offers will be only assigned in case of emergency!
- Do not fulfill an emergency request as long as you got assigned a request for a fandom you know.
- If you got a „blind date“ to write, please publish your story in the fandoms stated in the request description. Not in „Multi-Fandom“! (This tag is only needed for assigment)
- Stick to the wishes of your giftee!
- Please say thank you to your gifter and leave a kudo! If there’s something you didn’t like about your gift, state it in a polite tone since this story was written just for you!
