Summary
Pedri doesn’t remember what he told him then, but what’s etched in his memory is the way Gavi laughs in response, a bit shy but a little more unrestrained. He could recreate the glint in Gavi’s eyes that day, if asked, though.
He can’t really tell if this was the beginning of the end, or the end of all the endings.

Summary
They had claimed the loveseat as theirs early on in the night, their proximity easily justified as forced by the little space left to be occupied on the upholstery. Not that anyone would ever question them—by now, calling what they have an open secret might be challenging more linguistic conventions than he would care to acknowledge.
Whatever what they have is.

Summary
“Pedri sits across from them, his eyes lingering for a moment on Gavi. His wavy hair, a bit long in the front, is slightly matted with sweat, and he is flipping quickly through a tote bag. His eyes widen comically, then when he finds what he’s looking for, he visibly relaxes, lips smoothing out from the pinched shape. He pulls out three copies of a presentation and reaches over to slide one across the table to Pedri. Out of the corner of his eye, Pedri sees a sliver of skin as the seam of Gavi’s pale blue shirt comes untucked under his suit jacket.”
Pedri has built his startup from scratch into an eight-figure enterprise. Now, the young hotshot CEO is suddenly confronted with an existential threat: a takeover offer from a private equity fund led by Jude Bellingham. He calls on an old friend, Rodri, who brings a new associate, Gavi, and together with his brother Fer and his lead investor Xavi, Pedri finally learns how ambition might not be the solution to everything, and how falling hard for Gavi, as messy as that is, might be the best thing that he’s never planned.
