Summary
Of course, Ghost wasn't blind to Soap's little crush on him. In fact, he relished in it sometimes. At first, he told himself that it was nothing and he wouldn't let himself get too far into it, afraid of letting the other man get too attached and get too attached himself, but he wasn't expecting how much he enjoyed teasing reactions out of the other man.
He wasn't expecting how much he absolutely loved how he was the only one who could make Soap blush from just a few suggestive words.
In which Soap realizes his feelings for Ghost and Ghost knows about his feelings.

“It isn’t hard to hate me, Johnny. I’m probably the closest thing to a real-life monster, I made a career out of violence,” a new sick thought took root in his mind twisting his despair into anger, “Was it just some dare? Simon had years to work through all the shit he had faced under Roba, having grown into a relatively well adjusted man in his mid fourties who loves to spend his time reading good books, enjoying a cup of tea or being entertained by his best friend. Whatever he chooses to do in his free time, the lively Scott is never far, always in his orbit.
His good life comes crumbling down when Soap comes out to him one evening and starts avoiding him afterwards.
It stings, it hurts like a bitch and Ghost has a hard time being patient with his best friend.
