  Summary

Maybe they won’t ask; maybe they’ll just assume something so catastrophic happened that Shane’s home to spend a month — maybe two! — wallowing in his own self-pity.

Shane Hollander, architect to the wealthy, unexpectedly goes home for an extended Christmas visit to help his parents downsize to their new home in Almonte. Ilya Rozanov, sports physiotherapist and kids' hockey coach, plans to spend Christmas getting his rec-league hockey team through what's probably going to be their final season in their rink. Neither of them expect to see each other, years after their university hockey hookups fell apart. But what's the holiday season without a few surprises?
