Hera Potter always felt like a piece of her was missing.
When Hagrid told her about the Wizarding World and she learned that magic was real and all the weird things she did growing up were accidental magic, she thought that was it, that what she was missing was her magic.
Was not.
And Hera only discovered what it was after receiving the ring from her ancestor, Iolanthe Peverell, the most beautiful ring she had ever seen, made of black steel, with very mesmerising purple ripples and a dragon with pink sapphire eyes.
It was Valyria. The piece that was missing from her.
It was her home calling her.
OR, the one where Hera accidentally falls into another world and not-so-accidentally creates an empire never before seen even at the height of Valyria with the help of her father. All while causing some chaos, of course.

One quiet night, Valyria awoke in a cold sweat from a dream that tore through her mind. She found it odd that she felt cold, because only moments ago, in the depths of her imagination, she was on fire. Flames curled around her, consuming her body whole. In that dream, she saw flashes, that of death— life, sacrifice. A dance of dragons orchestrated by her mind. Her skin was slathered in blood, a thick crimson that nearly smothered her. Yet her hands, her hands were clean.
In her dream, her father appeared. Malevolence slithered around his features, nestling in where it belonged. He held out a vial, small but as heavy as the weight of a crown. The thought alone of holding it made her sink into the floor, drowning in the field of blood and ash she stood within.
"It will be you."
Those were the only words she could remember when she woke. Free of blood, free of death— but never free of the burdens that kept her confined to the small, obedient girl Valyria Targaryen was told to be.

Alicent’s breath caught. The world seemed to tilt for a moment as she met Rhaenyra’s gaze, the princess’s violet eyes filled with an emotion that Alicent didn’t dare name. "You would choose me... over the Crown?" Alicent asked, her voice trembling.
Rhaenyra smiled, soft and sure, her hand reaching out to cover Alicent’s. "I am the Crown," she said simply, her voice steady. "And the Crown loves you."
ADDED: Daemon thinking that after he divorces Rhea Royce he is finally free from her, years later his son falls for her and weds her. Daemon: 😑

Praying to the gods, old and new, to release him from his suffering, Aegon is sent back to the morning of his coronation. He is still weak, he still does not know how to rule. But he has one weapon: information. And with information, comes power. He now knows how to learn.
Being burned and usurped by his brother has left him with no love or patience to spare, for anyone. Everyone he thought he could trust betrayed him, and so he will pay their cruelty twice in turn.

Copium to do Aegon justice after the season 2 finale. Merciless Aegon who slowly grows into a powerhouse of a King, and Helaena into a proper queen. Team Black is treated with due respect. Don't think the war will be easy for Aegon at all just because he was sent back in time (after S2E6).
