Summary
The boy had stumbled into the police station wearing lavish, almost ceremonial robes, but he was frantic, panicked. He spun a tale of escaping from a compound and feeling lost in the alien outside world, but he had to find someone to pass his message on to – because the cult he had been kidnapped and raised by, the cult that worshiped him for his quirklessness and spoiled him, has formed a partnership with the yakuza over their shared goal of eliminating quirks from the world.
While other heroes go to investigate, Shouta volunteers to stay behind and take care of the boy.

“Of course,” Hizashi replied, honestly earnest. “Take a seat, kiddo. If you want to.”
And then, Keigo said, “I don’t… I don’t really know where- how to start.”
“Pick anywhere,” Hizashi told the boy. “You can always backtrack or speed forward if you need to. I’ll pick up on it, wherever you choose to begin.”
“Okay…” Keigo replied. Taking a deep breath, his chest expanding and then relaxing, the teenager said, “They muzzled me. At the HPSC.”

Izuku burns.
Fire crackles beneath him, sending sparks flying past his face, and golden flames ripple across his skin. However, he lies helpless in it, unable to move or call for help. Like a discarded doll with no power over its body, his limbs remain limp, despite his mental urging. All the while, the fire burns.
However, between the gaps in the flames, colors spirals. A kaleidoscope of purple, orange, green, blue, red, and pink swirls around him, never moving past the barrier of the fire, yet moving ever closer.
