Summary
Naruto doesn’t know much about love. If he were someone else, someone *neat*, then maybe love would be an emotion more easily categorized - the kind of thing that could be sectioned off, carted around like so much paperwork, packed into color-coordinated boxes and appropriately labeled. But he’s not, and like hell he wants to be, so instead it’s all a mad scramble of emotion that makes his head hurt whenever he tries to sort it through.
He’s not stupid, though - he knows love from hate from comradery or any one of those things. It’s just never occurred to him that there’d be different kinds of love, or that he’d ever feel any love for anybody (except maybe Iruka-sensei, or Sakura-chan), or that these funny fuzzy feelings could be so /misleading/.
If he knew more, it wouldn’t be as confusing as it is. But he doesn’t know more, which he chalks up to ignorance on his part. He tells himself he’ll ask Sakura about it next chance he gets.

I'm a big fan of stream-of-consciousness prose. The text feels so dynamic and fun, I love it. Fight scenes are enjoyable to read; the sex scenes are a nice prose. Whole fic is confined to Naruto's limited PoV, and yet it retains an omniscient presence---you get a decently executed internal monologue, settled within an almost melancholic depiction of his relationship with Sasuke.
Fighting, sex, and love.
