Summary
This is where it should have ended. They would shake it off with some laughs and jokes about how desperate they were. They’d say “No wonder we can’t get anyone! These moves are god awful!” Steve would drive him home and they would see each other again at a movie night or maybe New Year at the Wheeler’s. They’d share the same platonic smiles and banter as they have since spring break.

Steve couldn’t hate Chrissy for it, though, couldn’t even dislike her at all. How could he? She saw Eddie's charm and big, brown eyes, the same as Steve, and from what he knew, she treated him well.
