“This is all my fault, I was supposed to protect you! Everyone got hurt, Kacchan, Shouto, how can I be a hero if I can’t even protect my own teacher!?” His lower lip trembles, wide eyes glistening. “Sensei I promise I’ll-”
“There you go. The problem child, emulating that self-sacrificial nature of your mentor.” Shouta shakes his head, the softest smile on his lips. “I’ll have to have a talk with All Might when this is all over. But for now, I’m going to practice on you.”
My piece for last years 'Problem Child' Zine.

It was times like these, when Aizawa was patching up one of Izuku’s injuries, that Izuku remembered just how much more he had to learn before he could call himself a hero. It was a good thing his teacher was here to correct his mistakes.

Summary
In hindsight, the watery soup was much better than watching his student shake in a storeroom. Aizawa's vision wasn't the best anymore.

Summary
“What goes here?” he asks, tapping the line.
“Your name. Mom will write it for me.”
Shouta nods once in understanding. Seeing the page dedicated to him is endearing and, despite how low the skill level is right now, he can see a future analyst in the painstakingly clean coloring of the rectangles that make up his chest, arms, and legs. “It’s impressive,” he says, pulling the notebook closer. “Want me to write it?” he asks, gesturing once more to the blue line.
AKA: Eraserhead visits a preschool and gets to meet one Midoriya Izuku for the first time.
