Summary
Inspired by a Queerfest 2014 prompt: Firefly, Zoe, She’s identified as a lesbian her whole life, and still finds women plenty attractive. When she meets Wash, though, she realizes she might actually be bisexual, and spurns his advanced for a long time because she’s afraid of identifying that way, regardless of what she feels.
In the first two years that the crew comes together, Zoe and Wash bump up against each and Zoe finds out that Wash brings some unexpected little things into her life. As Zoe finds herself attracted to Wash, she worries about it and moves slowly while she thinks. Ends as they start to move towards a relationship. Includes references to past lesbian relationships and some sex talk between Zoe, Inara and Kaylee.
