Summary
Reo has changed him on such a fundamental level that sometimes Nagi doesn’t recognize himself. While he still loves to play games and laze around, Nagi has become so dependent on Reo’s warm presence in his life that any day without Reo leaves a Reo shaped hole in his heart and an ache in his chest. He longs to be near his best friend in the same way Choki thirsts for sunlight and water, and Nagi isn’t equipped to handle this embarrassing, new development.
OR Reo and Nagi have a movie night and watch Eternal Sunshine for the first time

Summary
Something like ‘being the best’ once felt far too big, too out of reach. Being Reo’s had been more than enough.
It’s flipped, now. There’s an arm’s length of distance between them, something Reo wouldn’t have allowed before — Reo would’ve hooked Nagi in, and being in the sharp curve of his elbow would’ve made something soft bloom in Nagi’s chest.

Summary
He isn’t sure he ever expected to be this happy. To be so content with another, to bask in that golden light and linger in its wake.
It’s corny, but Reo thinks he was made for Seishiro and the same holds true the other way around.
For Seishiro who found his life a chore until he met Reo– for Reo who sought warmth and acknowledgement of his existence once he was laid bare of all his baggage.
He wants to believe that their lives were always made to intersect, and so he does.

“Hey, Reo?” Nagi called through the bathroom door.
“Mmm?” Reo answered, focused intently on his phone. Perhaps it was a bit inelegant to the untrained eye, to the common pleb for one to be trading stocks on the toilet first thing in the morning. But Reo wasn’t the normal person, he was a mogul and master of efficiency and if that meant world domination from his porcelain throne, well then—
“You wanna get married?” Nagi asked nonchalantly.
Reo froze, his phone falling through his hands and cracking on the hard floor between his feet.
“Nagi Seishiro…” Reo began once he could find his voice, a mortified chill deep in his bones. “Did you just propose to me while I’m on the toilet?”
“…Is that a yes, then?” Nagi asked, ever unperturbed.
“No!” Reo screeched, so furious he could barely speak. “No, that’s not—! I can’t believe you! Get out!”
“But, Reo, I’m not in there—”
“Get out of my house! We’re done!”
