Adapt to Carry on
The Department is well-known in some circles for their many and varied private-sector espionage. They operate alongside and outside of regional and global law enforcement. For all staff, lab techs to agents to admin, danger lurks around every corner. No one is better at dealing with that than Director Wentz, labrats Iero and Urie, and Agents Saporta and Stump.
They're the gold standard. It just makes them bigger targets for enemies and "friendlies" alike.

Summary
Frank, Gabe, and Brendon have settled into being the Department’s Search and Rescue crew with ease. It’s an adventure they navigate on the days they’re not busy dealing with disgruntled Lab technicians and the daily grind of working for a covert agency. Gabe has a life he enjoys and a private relationship he couldn’t be happier with.
That’s all well and good until S&R ends up with a fourth member. One who has his own issues and baggage. Spencer’s not horrible, if maybe a bit too attached to his Department manual. But eventually they’ll break him of that. Maybe. If something irreversible doesn’t happen first.
Part three of a series/collection. Follows Never Wanted to Save the World, and Tarnished Gold Standard, but can be read as a standalone.

Summary
Director Wentz has made the Department stronger, more sane, and safer. Unfortunately, nothing is a sure thing in the field of private sector espionage. No one knows this better than Agent Stump, the best field agent on record. When a job goes south, it becomes more obvious than ever that the Department’s finest rely more on one another than anyone else, no matter how many people have their backs.
Part two of a Series/Collection. Follows Never Wanted to Save the World, but can be read as a standalone.

Summary
Life’s pretty damn good for Frank. He has a job he enjoys, a not so shitty apartment, and a boyfriend who single-handedly turns every day into an adventure.
If Frank’s sometimes bored without the action of the world he left behind, that’s fine. He doesn’t exactly miss the almost constant threat of death and the fast-paced rush to complete explosives before getting shot that used to hang over his head. Except some mornings, he wakes up, rolls over, and watches Brendon sleep wondering what it would be like if they didn’t work in a basement lab, the Q to Patrick and Gabe’s 007.
The catch is, Frank hired in as a lab tech to stay out of the firefights. Being Patrick’s snarky friend helped solidify it. And if that hadn’t, Gabe slipping into his and Brendon’s lives did the trick. Being an agent is dangerous as shit.
Only, now he finds himself wondering more and more what it would be like out in the field, making a difference.
