Summary
Jinshi has the nerve to be looking pleased with himself when Maomao drops furiously into his lap. She angles her body to hide his face from the rest of the room. It’s a very distinctive face, after all, even though she can tell he’s tried to disguise it.
The makeup is approaching passable, she supposes, and he’s at least used a plain piece of cloth to tie back his hair rather than something more ostentatious. It still isn’t enough—not to hide the Moon Prince. Not for more than a few minutes.
Or, Maomao helps Jinshi with some undercover work.
