Summary
Yu Shengyan is moving away to study which means that Yan Wushi will be left on his own for a year. Both he and Bian Yanmei are worried sick that their dad is going to do something stupid and die so at least they want to make sure he eats well while they are gone – hence they ask a local organic food store for help.
Little did they know what the long-term results of this decision would be.Or: Yan Wushi complains about organic food and Shen Qiao sighs.
+ A small glimpse into the fic:
“Over eight thousand years of water chestnuts cultivation in China, the culture where knowledge is passed on and shared for the prosperity of communities – you would have thought with so much experience people would eventually master this skill and by now all chestnuts would be a splendid delicacy. Unfortunately, that’s not the case, the ones you gave me yesterday are barely so-so. If I were you, I would sincerely reconsider if you value our forefather’s legacy, Shen Qiao, since you’re selling those chestnuts. Find a better brand immediately and go to a temple to beg for the ancestors’ forgiveness.”Series
