To the outside perspective, Le Cirque de la Peur is a strange but wonderful Circus, open only at night, travelling and appearing without warning, filled with wonders that are as horrifying as they are astounding. But beneath the surface, The Circus is much, much more. To those who know, it is a feeding ground. To Jonathan Sims, it is his prison and his saviour.

The Circus feeds the Fears, through Contests between pairings of the Entities. The time has come for Beholding and Forsaken to face each other. Elias and Peter Lukas submit their Contestants - Jon and Martin. But everyone has their own plans in place, and much more is at stake than the Contest.
