Welcome to the Twoset Violin Summer Santa 2022! This is a fic and art exchange dedicated to the romantic pairing of Brett Yang and Eddy Chen from the YouTube channel TwoSet Violin.

1. I would like to participate, but I don't have an AO3 account!

2. I am a minor (under 18) and I would like to participate. Can I do so?
Yes, you may. We operate in good faith and trust that you will not sign up to offer or receive creations that are explicit in nature. If you are found to have broken this rule, you will be banned from all future exchanges and will be removed from this exchange immediately.

Regardless of the creator's age, please do not create anything explicit for minors. If you are a minor, please do not offer or create anything explicit.

3. Can I create more than 1 gift for my recipient?
Yes, as long as you have completed a story of at least 1,000 words that matches your recipient's request, respecting their Do Not Wants, or you have created a piece of artwork that adheres to their request that is clean and detailed lineart that is not on lined paper that respects their Do Not Wants.

4. Am I guaranteed a gift?
Yes. However, if you have defaulted from the exchange, you will no longer be guaranteed a gift.

5. Will I be the only one creating for my recipient?
It depends. One participant may have more than one designated creator in order to make matching work.

6. I defaulted from a previous exchange. Will I be allowed to sign up again?
You will only be allowed to sign up if you have done any of the following:
- Defaulted before the no penalty deadline OR, if you defaulted after the no penalty deadline:
- Posted a gift meant for your original recipient that matches the gift requirement for the exchange you defaulted from (e.g. 1000 words worth of fic) OR
- Posted a treat for someone for the exchange you defaulted from that fulfils the gift requirement (e.g. clean detailed line art that is not on lined paper)

REQUESTS:

1. All requests will be for the romantic pairing of Brett Yang and Eddy Chen.
(What does this mean?

OK:
- Asexual!Brett in a romantic relationship with Bi!Eddy
- Aromantic Asexual!Eddy in a romantic relationship with Gay!Brett (clearly not intended as just platonic friendship)
- Boyfriends getting together
- Edwina and Brad as a married couple

Not OK:
- Gen where Brett and Eddy are only platonic friends or close friends
- Brett and Eddy as best friends who are not romantically interested in each other as love interests on both sides)

Bottom line is: unless otherwise requested (e.g. I would like to read about Brett and Eddy in a queerplatonic relationship), please do not write or create art with unrequested identity headcanons for your recipient.
2. Please indicate if you would like to receive fic, art or both in this exchange. You may also opt into receiving extra gifts that are not of your chosen medium.
3. Please leave at least 3 different prompts for your author/artist. Samples of requests can are as follows:

Good:
- I'd like to receive fluffy fic or art to do with Brett and Eddy spending time together in Australia or Singapore
- Some Alternate Universe suggestions: Ghosts, Pokemon trainers, Vampires, Food bloggers
- I'd like to receive angsty fic about an urban legend of your choice
- Art inspired by: (different song lyrics or different music videos)
- 5 times Edwina and Brett failed to get together and the 1 time they did

Bad:
- I want fic where Brett and Eddy meet in university and they hold hands for the first time and they both play the recorder for a music module and it turns out awful but it makes them discover that they are actually soulmates and also, Brett is a mermaid. (Too specific, not good)
- I want anything (Not helpful to your creator)
- Draw me photorealistic Brett and Eddy kissing (too demanding)
4. Indicate if you are comfortable with receiving a creation from people above 18 or under 18, or both.
5. Indicate your do not wants in the Details section (e.g. do not want: mentions of COVID-19, eating disorders, explicit fic). Do not wants not indicated here will not be enforced. Do not wants should not be meant to railroad your creator into creating something specific for you (e.g. do not want all types of fic except Brett and Eddy in a Pacific Rim AU — this will not be enforced).
6. If you are comfortable with receiving fic in another language (e.g. Chinese, French, Italian etc.), please indicate in the Details section.
7. For this exchange, various characters portrayed by Twoset will be deemed as separate from Brett and Eddy themselves. If you wish to receive works about these characters (e.g. Edwina, Professor Wenuhin), please indicate this in your request.
8. The mod reserves the right to delete signups from badly behaved accounts. Bad behaviour includes but is not limited to harrassing other participants, defaulting across multiple accounts and plagiarism or art theft.

OFFERS:

1. Please select if you would like to create fic, art or both for this exchange.
2. Indicate if you are comfortable with creating for people above 18 or under 18, or both.
3. In the Details section, you can indicate if you have any difficulties (e.g. you find it difficult to write Alternate Universe fics or you find it difficult to draw Alternate Universe art, or if you can't write Edwina as a character).
4. Indicate your age in the Details section. (e.g. specific age / minor / 20s / 35 is fine). Sign ups without this will be deleted.
5. If you are willing to pinch hit (create for someone in case they do not have a creator), you can indicate it in the Details section as well.

MATCHING:

You will be matched based on medium of work and rating chosen (above 18/under 18). Incomplete signups will be deleted.

ASSIGNMENTS:

1. Assignments will be sent out within 3 days after sign ups close.
2. Fic created for this exchange must be at least 1,000 words long, written in English unless your recipient has stated they are interested in receiving fics in other languages (you may write your story in the languages they have mentioned then) and you have told the mod which language you intend to post in. Fic should be an original piece created for your recipient, and you should not have posted it anywhere else before.
3. Art created for this exchange must be an original piece (no photo manips or graphics) created for your recipient in either traditional or digital mediums. At minimum, it must be clean and detailed lineart, and cannot be on lined paper.
4. Fic and/or art created must adhere to at least one of the requests that you receive.
5. For this exchange, various characters portrayed by Twoset will be deemed as separate from Brett and Eddy themselves. Please do not create works with these characters as part of the Brett and Eddy pairing unless it was requested by your recipient. (E.g. Do not create Edwina and Brett fic for someone who did not request for Edwina)
6. If your recipient has indicated 'do not wants', please do not include them in your gift.
7. This exchange is anonymous. All works for this exchange must not have been posted anywhere else, and cannot be posted anywhere else until the exchange is over. Works cannot be a part of a previous series. Please do not reveal what you are working on or who your recipient is until Creator Reveals have happened.
8. Assignments cannot be changed: please email the mod if there are any errors and you cannot fulfil your assignment.
9. Please do not contact your recipient directly if you have questions. Email the mod, and the mod will help you with it.
10. Please fulfil your assignment by the due date. If you require an extension, please email the mod. If you do not turn in your work by the due date, it will be a default (you have dropped out without informing the mod).
11. If you need to default/drop out from the exchange, please email the mod by 9th July 2022, 2359 hours (GMT-12). Any later than this deadline would mean possible penalties imposed (e.g. not allowed to participate in the next exchange round). To default, look for your 'Assignments' page on AO3 on your Profile page, or you can go to the page of the exchange collection and click on 'Your Assignment'. Click on 'Default' to drop out. Alternatively, you may email the mod.

POSTING YOUR ASSIGNMENT:

1. Look for your 'Assignments' page on AO3 on your Profile page, or you can go to the page of the exchange collection and click on 'Your Assignment'.
2. Click on 'Post to fulfil', and you will be directed to a form to post your work.
3. You can check that your work fulfils an open assignment (check that it's to the correct exchange and correct recipient)
4. Post!

Treats are allowed for this exchange. It does not have to meet the minimum requirements for a regular gift and can be of any length for fic and of any quality for art. Please contact the mod for the full list of requests if you would like to create treats.
