Summary
Zhongli has not played human for very long, Childe knows this, but he still can’t help feeling hurt about the whole situation. He has been the butt of the Fatui’s plans too often due to his headstrong nature, kept in the dark to be easily manipulated into not ruin their little schemes. Now the ex-archon wants to continue their previous friendship, and maybe even what had been slowly growing between them as more than that, but Childe cannot get over Zhongli’s manipulation of him. Especially when Zhongli still refuses to see why it was wrong or at least why it hurts Childe so much. Childe doesn’t want to open up old scars and Zhongli has a lot to learn about being human still.
