I think he was forced to eat whatever they gave him in the Nest but his autism really doesn’t like the texture of meat (and again it makes sense to me in any canon or canon adjacent verses with his disordered eating, the only reason Kevin Day doesn’t develop REDS is plot armour hahaha)
Fun canon facts I use are: Kevin’s favourite colour is red (Nora says it doesn’t suit him because he’s too pale. Growing up in the MCR emo era, this is a ludicrous statement to make?? But also my Kevin is mixed race so irrelevant to him), Kevin’s favourite fruit is pineapple, Aaron’s favourite ice cream flavour is mint choc chip (legend pick, my baby boy) & Kevin’s is vanilla bean (I don’t care if they call you boring, Kevin, vanilla bangs !), Kevin maintains his looks through careful grooming (I reject this and make him a natural born pretty boy BUT he also does have an extensive skincare routine hahaha that’s my trade off). Those are the ones I can think off from the top of my head that I incorporate. 💞
Unfortunately nudges will prompt nothing through October, spooky season supersedes everything to me hahaha the reason merKev had less updates last month was because I was already working on October fics. This is my fave time of the year 🙂↕️
