Comment on The Stories Are True

  1. Harry absolutely hates losing, and to be fair, he doesn’t lose often. But he’s also suffering from a real lack of confidence at times. Being a teacher is challenging work in a way he’s not used to, and I didn’t necessarily want him to sail to success every single time. He’s had his stumbles, and the Transfiguration exam is a big one.

This chapter ran very long, so I actually split it into two, but in the next one, you’ll see that there’s definitely more to what is going on and that he’s not the only person that feels awful about what happened. He really did get seriously hurt; in everyone’s desire to have the duel between him and Bill have real stakes, both of them were also placed in real danger, and limits were pushed that maybe shouldn’t have…and that definitely wouldn’t have been if Harry was seventeen or eighteen.

    1. It's realistic- nobody wins or succeeds all the time because life doesn't work like that!

Oooh interesting, I wonder what is going on? I look forward to finding out in part 2!
