  1. Huh, Exocoemon being a hybrid of water human and beast wind spirit makes me curious of how other hybrids would look like. It'd definitely be fun, but that's way too many combinations to imagine. It's like what, 55 total?
I'm guessing she's going susanoomon in this one? I do wonder how she convinced Cherubimon to unlock that form.

Assuming we count the "natural" fusions that include both spirits of a given element, yep, 55. Something tells me I wouldn't get through all of them - though maybe it's something to explore in another omake. ;)

Something like that - the plan is certainly to get all the spirits in one place so Exocoemon!me can make use of them myself. This specific AU was basically inspired by this bit from Chapter 11 of QOP:

"Frontier didn't have any other convenient plot devices like crests or armor digi-eggs; the only additional power ups came directly from the angels, and Seraphimon is dead, Ophanimon is locked up in Cherubimon's castle, and Cherubimon is the problem I'm now trying to resolve in the first place, not to mention his idea of a boon is... well. Look at Duskmon."

...and thinking "What if Ranamon!me either didn't have that thought, or just decided it was worth the risk anyways", giving me an excuse to do a "Feral Mode" variant of a Wind/Water fusion. Presumably I just... asked, and Cherubimon decided this "reward" was no real trouble to him while also putting me more firmly under his sway/making me more useful.

(A more natural, less Cherubimon-tainted version of Exocoemon would likely lose the scale feathers, increase the vividness of the wings/colors in general (AncientKazemon and AncientMermaimon both being represented here and all), combine Ranamon and Zephyrmon's gauntlets into one (or switch their places), and definitely lose the teeth design on the mask. Might keep the tail though, just less ragged.)
