REREAD KUDOSSSSS i just trawled through my bookmarks to find this again bc i had a vision of the elevator scene. god, the tension and confessions and comedic use of the door opening and emergency braking was just perfection. also “Anakin, a coward with impeccable timing, stepped out of the lift like a man escaping an airlock breach.” may be one of my favorite lines I’ve ever read in sw fic <3 love this one
