    Damn it Easy!! You can’t just write that cliffhanger like that!!!!

    So… Scarlet’s section of the chapter, I’ll say that filled me with dread when she met with the CG officials. I don’t know if it was revealed canonically, but I remember some fans and another fanfic (BakaSmurf’s Only Human story) theorize that Oswald lied to the Goddesses in canon to protect them, that the CG was going to dismantle them when they returned to the Ark despite their service (was Oswald’s reason revealed? Idk if I missed it). Kind of is my headcannon for now till the writers give us an answer, plus it does sound in character for those CG nutjobs.

    That aside, looks like she’ll be learning the truth. Interested in seeing how her reaction will be. The same as Rose’s? Or acceptance of being disposable like she did in canon? Either way, looking forward to it!

      Oswald's reason hasn't been revealed in this story, no. But it was revealed in the first chapter of this volume that he was a fan of the lieutenant and Old Tales, so that's why he helped them out in getting to the Space Elevator.

      As for the CG, just to clear some stuff up, Lieutenant Colonel Marcus Hale is someone you've met in the past, who is associated with Vos and the research on the lieutenant's blood. He was part of the officer clique that questioned the lieutenant all the way back in volume 2.5 and has appeared various other times since then.

      Red Shoes is Red Shoes, and she turned my boy the lieutenant into a clanker; of course, she's nuts!
