Comment on The Meaning of One's Life: Tantal

  1. Read it, got distracted. I completely forgot to leave a comment. A busy week....

I am glad that you close the loose end about Fan here and Malos is finally being introduced. You explained so well regarding the desire of Malos destroying Alrest is a reflection/influence of the Driver's. Hahah...i dislike the Praetor very much. You are making him more of a main villian than Malos at this point. Rex....what a brave boy for speaking up strategically. He learns fast from Morag.

Zeke is a wild card at this point. But i believe that he has a kind heart knowing that Praetor has been using him. We shall see.

Another great chapter to get the motion of the story going. :)

    1. I appreciate you still leaving a comment despite your busy week! It means a lot.

Thank you for your kind words! I spent quite some time trying to figure out how I wanted to introduce Malos. You actually made a comment awhile back about Malos and it made me revisit this scene. My original draft did not have him mentioned at all. Then I thought back to Rex making the comment in the game about how the Praetor sounded like Malos and it merged together in my head with what Mythra and Brighid had discussed about Driver influence... and this is what came out of it. So THANK YOU for your old comment!

I have this story written in its entirety (basically just a thought dump), but I have been going back and editing it over and over again, especially when I get feedback that makes me look at scenes in a different light.

My goal was to craft a version of Amalthus that really emphasized his callous piety, so I'm glad you don't like him haha!

      1. Aww....thank you for taking my comment into consideration. I did see Malos to be important for the grand scheme of thing. Your way of introducing him and tying him to Amalthus evilness is right on the mark.
