I'm sorry to hear about the abuse, Paula. I hope that it's not one of us that love AO3 and believe in its work/stance on the importance of AO3. While all abuse shouldn't be tolerated, I hope the minority are just unimportant Internet trolls rather than users genuinely in our fandom spaces.
What the volunteers do are so important to keep the lights on and this space is so so vital for so many of us. So thank you.
