As I read this latest update the feeling is my chest kept getting tighter & tighter until I wanted to scream & throw things. What would give me the most satisfaction would be to strap both Simmonds & the Viscount to gurneys, hook 'em up to ECT machine and 'turn the dial to 11' & then just walk away. Yes you've made me engage w/ you writing to a huge degree.
What is scaring me the most right now isn't just the very palpable threat of more ECT but the fact that, if I'm guessing right, it is no longer just a threat but almost a given since those two S.O.Bs. now have written proof what Sherlock has started to remember. (As an aside, if you don't completely, utterly, totally DESTROY those two I will be devastated! Killing them slowly & painfully would be best I think)
One thing I *AM* curious about is did Mycroft get the same abuse from their father or not & if that is one reason he's reluctant to rock the boat? And if he wasn't abused too, why not?
I see that you've updated with more chapters & I can't wait to read them. Thank you for sharing your work.
