    Oh man, this story is literally everything I love about fake relationship fics, and I love how well you capture their voices. (And the set-up is just perfect.) Bless you for writing this, and I'm so excited to see how it unfolds!

        Oh man, I just read the second chapter and made super happy noises all the way through it. The snarky banter between them was perfect; I especially loved that exchange about Sonny's tie & the Buzzfeed stuff. But the underlying layers of mutual attraction/respect/insecurity were awesome.

        Also Carisi's family/the squad's reactions were great. I loved how they were all unquestioningly accepting but also kind of a pain in the ass. Sonny's nonno taking a nap during his wife's phone call with Sonny was especially sweet for some reason.

I made super happy noises while reading this comment, so I think we're pretty even ;) Really glad that you enjoyed the underlying layers of mutual attraction/respect/insecurity, and especially the family/squad reactions - unquestioningly accepting but kind of a pain in the ass is exactly what I was aiming for (and Sonny's nonno taking a nap during Sonny's call was based loosely on what happened when a friend of mine came out to his grandparents - I couldn't resist using it here XD)

            Hahaha, excellent :D The story behind the call makes the whole thing even better! Grandparents are the cutest sometimes.
