   The other option is that they *don't* change history and make it back to their own time. 30 years later, after Kylo kills Han, Leia looks up one day to find Boba Fett standing in the doorway. Neither of them say anything, but it hangs unspoken between them.

   For that moment on, Fett is always by her side.
