Comment on Learn When to Quit [Old Version]

  1. Aw, thank you! Don't worry, I haven't been working much on the next chapter for now because I have a lot on my mind right now (the biggest and hardest oral exams in my life for example, but I also have big plans for the TBPW project -- that is to say, the entire chronology of what truly happened in the multiverse, because LWtQ is far from being the entire thing), but I have plans for this story and I will love sticking to it! If only because that's the only way I can keep my plot from getting inconsistencies.

To be honest about the Traits thing, I am the kind to prefer when humans are fully complex, and so that you can't actually put them into proper boxes. Dawn's strongest trait is Patience both because she lacks determination and because she prefers observation over action most of the time; but that is not an absolute rule. As for her DT value, the number is only three decimals long (aka about one more or one less Monster Soul) because these values are fluctuating along with time, emotions... potential accidents. Maybe the girl's trauma actually was the real reason behind her lack of DT after all :p
I have been thinking for a while about what her friends' and family's soul traits would be as well, and it is the same rule. They do fit that trait to some extent, but they're not bound by those rules at all. Lys is a Justice soul, but right now I doubt her behavior so far looked any close to such thing. You could say it's more about "It makes more sense once you get to know them well", in a way.

Also, Dawn losing her marbles and going on a rampage? Nah, not gonna happen xD She might still hurt some people psychologically or physically the way she already did so far, but the only way I can see her going as far as to kill anybody would be because of a state of extreme panic, the state where you have stopped thinking, just act on the spot, then go "What Have I Done?" -- aka, self-defense.

Anyway, thank you so much for reading and letting me know! I hope the next issues won't disappoint :D

(As for my oral exams, I'm about to have my English oral in about an hour, then I'm officially on vacation. For the other subjects, it went... good? sorta??? I really don't know haha
I mean just look at that physics oral test:

Question 1: A driver accidentally starts his car while leaving one of the doors open at a right-angle.
Determine the time needed for the door to close on its own.

Question 2: The driver is now driving at a constant speed. He opens two of the windows, but as long as he drives in a straight line, he doesn't feel any breeze. However, as soon as he makes a turn, he feels one.
Modelize the situation so as to explain this phenomenon.

You have thirty minutes, a blank blackboard with chalk, an impatient examinator waiting in front of you, and no time for preparation. Good luck :) )
