  1. How do I run?

    1. There are different schools of thought the best way to do so, but ultimately it comes down to putting alternating feet in front of the other as quickly as possible. For motivation, you may want to find a large, predatory animal like a bear or lion to follow behind you.

      Hello,

Thank you for your interest in running for a seat on the Organization for Transformative Works'
(OTW) Board! In order to declare candidacy, there are certain eligibility requirements that must first be met.

Applicants must be 18 years of age, paying members of the OTW (for at least eight weeks prior to the election date), and currently serving as OTW volunteers for a period of at least 9 months (on a non-disqualifying committee). Additionally, they must be willing to run under their legal name, and be able to provide a brief public statement summarising their philosophy, goals, and views for the organisation.

For more in-depth information about the current candidacy criteria, as well as the specifics of the declaration process, you can refer to the OTW's Becoming A Candidate Page.

          Hello,

Candidates will run under their legal first name and the initial of their last name. If they do get elected, they will need to serve their board term under their full legal name. However, candidates will need to share their full name to the OTW in the process of eligibility, but their last name will not be public unless they get elected.

          Hope this helps!
