What's your favorite type of pie? Though seriously about how much knowledge in a language would you recommend for translating? I am semi fluent in Chinese and have slowly been considering a role in translating possibly for ao3 or elseware.

As for your translation-related question: We require our volunteers to have native or near native-fluency in a language when applying for the role (though no prior experience in translation is needed). Hope that answers your question!
