      there are 7 seats total, the amount of open ones changes every year depending on how many people's terms end and if anyone quits

      they've said there were 4 seats this time in previous election-related posts (more precisely, 3 three-year-long terms and 1 one-year-long one, which still makes it so the results aren't going to be a mystery...)
