That's probably more from the show's age rating making it hard for them to show it off and having to do far more subtle implications. Lila can get away with holding Adrien's arm and resting her head on him because it can be considered "romantic", but if she started grabbing hold to his chest to feel his abs instead or even if Adrien did what fics do and showed his arms being bruised and/or marked with her nails from how hard she tends to grab him, it would be declared "sexual" and the censors would start screaming at the creators even if they don't specifically state that she was feeling them over. Fan fics *don't* have to appeal to censorship, so they can get away with saying it plainly instead of skirting around the issue like the show has to.
Also, switching the lens from Doyalist to Watsonian for a bit, Adrien is so sheltered that he might not even know he's being sexually harassed by her, both due to the stigma caused by the A Man Is Always Eager mindset and expecting that type of abuse to be more explicit than how Lila goes about it. Not to mention that Chloe also does it to him with her constant glomps, which would have the side effect of Adrien thinking that it's normal for girls to do that. And by the time the Ladybug episode ended, he'd also be locked into a deal with her to continue being her "friend" if she didn't go after Marinette anymore and helped reinstate her back to Dupont, which she could've increased the "price" Adrien would have to pay off screen, especially with Gabriel just letting it happen, meaning that he wouldn't be able to say "no" anyway with Marinette's school life hanging by a thread whil Lila holds the scissors, at least in his mind.
