I'll admit that my involvement with the game was through an LP, rather than gaming it myself, but for the one I viewed, there definitely did seem to be something self-destructive about Noct, post-chapter 1, and I loved that you delved into this. And you really seemed to nail the Noct-Gladio dynamic in this - Gladio's calling Noct selfish feels off, and uncomfortable, and it feels so really true to the game. Especially since it's an outsider POV, much like what we got in the game, but you still managed to shade in a few layers of implied backstory and background for them, where this seems like their dynamic, and it works, and Gladio helping Noct up destroys me a little bit. As does:
“Get up.” “I’m up.” “Then fight like it.” Your Gladio voice is so good, and it's just dialogue but you have the snappishness down for both of them as well, and it's just great, brutal in its simplicity.
Also, I'm always here for an elbows to the face in a fight scene.
