    There was discussion about Wattpad refugees coming to AO3 and being scandalized by stuff here, thus mass reporting works here. I don't know that it was true. I'm sure it happened to some extent, but it really sounds like someone trolling to start shit between AO3 users and ex-Wattpad users.

      I don’t think it was true. If I recall correctly, they confirmed there was no massive spike in reports, or at least it wasn’t directly correlated to the migration. Nonetheless, the whole controversy did leave a bad taste in my mouth considering how quickly it devolved into plain bigotry..
