      Cliffhangers are my jam ;) And yes! I know that in the books everyone is captivated by the Cullens but it's not realistic. So I wanted to show that to people who have never seen or interacted with the Cullens might be awed, but to everyone else the "enchantment' has died off and everyone just ignores them at this point :D We'll keep seeing this as the story goes.
