   I can’t be a Stormcloak for one reason only: you have to depose Balgruuf, and I can’t do that. I’ve written him into so many of my stories that he’s become like a grumpy uncle or something. Although, now that I have an Ulfric story, I might start feeling the same. And it’s a shame, because I hate Tullius with the heat of a thousand suns, so it would be nice to choose the Stormcloak side for once!

      I hate having to oust Balgruuf! It hurts my soul every time I do it. That’s why this story is going to have a different approach on the taking of Whiterun. After all, what’s fanfiction for if you can’t fix a few things?
