This was such a good read! The dynamic between Waver and Lancer is so interesting. I think they're a very good match for each other, and it was so nice to see what growth they were already starting to have through this story. I felt awful for Lancer in the anime; his ending was so tragic. It would have been cool to see how this pair would have affected each other throughout the rest of the war. And all the other pairings as well! I think there was a lot of potential for completely different outcomes (or maybe things would have remained eerily similar).
Thank you so much for the story you gave us! :) If someday your muse ever returns, I would love to see where these characters end up.
