  1. Hello again, dearie, I'll combine the reply for both messages here!! :3 :3 I hope you're having a lovely day and that you're doing well!

The first story BH told something he invented purely for Flug's entertainment and he didn't make any significant references there. Hahahha, the funniest part is that Flug actually invented a pretty good horror story but BH is just so picky that nothing can satisfy him, ahahahah. As a future mad scientist, Flug can definitely produce pure terror.

The little meta story was mostly BH's way of being passive-aggressive towards his own fate and dire imprisonment. He is bitter and he just wishes to convey it through metaphors. Hahahahah, Flug cannot protect himself from the lustful BH, but Flug is a very strong lad and he is capable of surviving anything BH does to him. BH himself is amazed at how impossible it is to truly break Flug. You will see how this point is shown in the ninth chapter.

Flug is a villain, and here we have to differentiate the concepts of being nice and being good. Flug is nice, he is a very nice person when he wants to be, he loves 505, he takes care of Dem and 505. But he is not a good person regarding morals. He is evil, but he is evil to those that he needs to be evil to. He is evil to enemies, there is not a trace of clemency for them. He is brilliant and sadistic, but he is loving enough to spare those he loves from having to see his dark side. He is indeed like Jekyll, but he is not separate from his Hyde-self, they are one and the same.

Well, a combination of artistic curiosity and my great admiration for these characters are my main drive. I adore Villainous, it reminds me so much of the old Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, and all the other amazing cartoons of the 2000s. Black Hat and Flug are basically the perfect incarnation of Mephistopheles and Doctor Faustus, with the dark supernatural mentor allowing a mortal man reach his true potential, just like Black Hat is making sure Flug becomes a great villain.

Also, I adore mixing horror elements with comedy elements, and thus creating something unexpected, to further explore style, plot and dialogue. The characters are alive, they are living ghosts and one must grasp them fully and transfer them into words to bring them to the reader. And turning terror into laughter is fun and I want my readers to have fun, I want them to enjoy the love they have for the characters and the world the characters inhabit. I always strive to create something that has never been done before, telling a story from a perspective that is unexplored and new and full of wonders.

I never draw anything from personal experiences in my stories, I simply invent new things and usually I tend to never reflect my inner self onto my characters, I am separated from them. And, in my opinion, in order to fully hear what the character is whispering to the author, the author must pay full attention to the character, the character's wishes and dreams and spirit.

Looking forward to hearing your lovely opinion of the ninth chapter :3 :3
